Parking Included

There are two dedicated spaces and overflow for Sugar Mountain where guests can park at their own risk. With record crowds in 2020, there were no parking issues including holidays and busy weekends.

Getting around

4WD drive is highly recommended in the winter. Look for vacation rentals at the base of the mountain as they are directly across from the Sugar Mountain Resort entrance and less chance of getting stuck on the mountain. Roads are maintained throughout snowstorms but unfortunately, some drivers are ill-prepared for the harsh driving conditions.

Easy access with door lock code provided to the phone number on file one hour prior to the 4pm check-in time or as close to 4pm when the unit is ready during high turnover seasons such as ski season/holidays and events

House Rules

Rates may change depending on season, length of stay and other considerations. Host will verify prior to booking.

Occupancy:

We welcome a maximum of 10 total guests including infants for overnight stays. Additional guests not registered may require intervention.

Check-in

4:00 PM or after -Self-Check-in with lockbox code.

Check-out

10:00 - Anything later than 10am will be charged $50 per 15 minutes. Weather and busy seasons require a strict policy. Please ensure all guests in the party understand the importance of this policy. We appreciate the cooperation to ensure the unit affords the cleaning crew the necessary time to clean according to COVID guidelines.

Host has taken additional measures to ensure property is set to give guests an amazing experience. Guests are expected to read and adhere to house rules and respecting house rules is a requirement of ALL guests staying at the property including guests of the booking party.

Cleaning:

Guests need to leave property as they found it.

Cleaning crew does not pick up after guests and a MINIMUM of $100 charged if additional cleaning beyond normal turnover is required. Guests booking the reservation are responsible for all guests in their party. All damage, missing items and additional cleaning will be deducted from the additional $500 security deposit collected approx 10 days prior to check-in.

Sugar Mountain enforces quiet time between 10pm and 7am.

Payment Policy

Guests may pay through Houfy, Zelle, Venmo or Paypal. There is an additional 3% charge on Paypal and Houfy (the current site) Guests must acknowledge they have received and agree to rental policy with initial deposit.

**Travel insurance highly recommended for those unexpected events i.e. weather, sudden illness**

Damage Deposit Policy

As a security deposit alternative, Houfy Protect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

Guests may cancel with full refund 30 days in advance. 50% refund 14 days in advance. No refund 14 days prior to check-in however credit may be applied for future stays if nights are re-booked. Solely dependent on seasonal activity and discretion of host. There are no refunds for cancellations for shortened stays, in particular weather-related events, COVID or acts of God. Travel insurance covers these and it is highly recommended guests purchase this on their own. No refund 14 days prior to check-in.

Two parking spots in front of unit and overflow parking adjacent to the condo is available to park at your own risk. Please note overflow parking is for Sugar Mountain Resort and not Snowlake condos.
